
I´m going to give you some tips that may be usefull for the first time you go to the gym. Let´s talk about clothing, you should wear clothes that are appropriate to go to the gym like for example a jogging suit, sneakers and a T-shirt. So here you are my ten tips.
1- Once you open the gym´s door, DO NOT GET SCARED when you´ll see how strong people is and how thin you are.
2- WARM-UP, it is very important to warm up during 10 minutes, you can warm-up using weiths, with the stationary bycicle and stretching all body parts.
3-Do not go ALONE! Find a mate and train with him always. If you really want you progress you need a mate so he can help you lifting the weiths whenever you need the help.
4-Do not pretend to be as arnold in 2 months. Whay I´m trying to say is that you have to think how to achieve realistic goals. You have to be patience and compare to the body you had two months ago, 6 months ago and so on, that is the way you will see if you improved or not.
5-Do not train every single day. I advise you not to train more than 5 days per week. Why? Muscles need to rest so they can get bigger.
6- Each day train a different muscle, chest, back, shoulders, triceps, biceps and legs. I will talk later on different ways of trainning, by now, let´s say you train Chest on Monday, back on Tuesday, biceps and triceps on Wednesday, legs on Thursday and shoulders on Friday.
7- Do you think trainning hard is the most important thing you have to do for getting big muscles? I´m sorry, but I have to tell you that in my opinion 70% Diet and 30% trainning hard. You get the point right? No matter how hard you train if you do not eat enough food. (I will talk later about diets).
8-CHANGE, it is one of the magic words. Each 3 months (for example) you should change your routine. Actually, I make changes every time I get tired about doing every time the same things and I don´t feel I´m progressing as fast as I should be doing it. You can change the way of trainning, your diet, etc.
9-You have to choose whether you decide you want to gain muscle or if you want to lose fat. Doing both at the same time is impossible.
10- Be constant and do not let anything bring you down. If you are not progressing, probably you are doing something wrong that you don´t know.
